The Walloon Trade Office is part of a network of about 100 offices of AWEX ( Walloon Export Agency) all over the world whose main target is to promote the exports and the international trade of Wallonia and provide support to walloon companies wanting to conquer international market.

The activities of the Walloon Trade Office in Geneva are concentrated on the swiss market and the international organizations based in Switzerland, mainly in Geneva. They consist in:

- the collect , process and dissemination of economic and commercial information ,
- the transmission of business opportunities,
- the organization of foreign missions,
- the participation to specialized trade fairs
- the search for agents , distributors and importators,
- the search for companies partnerships.

The Walloon Trade office can also give informations or act as a go between for any request concerning investment in Wallonia. The request will be submitted to the OFI -Office for foreign Investors.
